As our Senior Sales Executive you will be you will be expected to work closely with both marketing and the wider sales team to manage incoming leads, follow up on marketing initiatives and plan for account penetration.

Reporting To: Inside Sales Manager

Position Description

This is a fast paced, office based sales role with a key focus on driving new business in new and existing accounts. You will be required to work closely with both marketing and the wider sales team to manage incoming leads, follow up on marketing initiatives and plan for account penetration.

This role is a 360 role and so there is a requirement to hunt, qualify, nurture and close business; as such the individual we are looking for needs to have proven experience and success in these areas. We need people with a true hunter mentality who want to smash their targets. This is a phone based role that will require high volumes of calls whilst utilising other communication channels.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Sales Executive you are accountable for:

  • Hitting monthly targets MRGP/VAR/PS
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts
  • Keeping CRM up to date
  • Customer retention
  • Maintaining customer spend
  • Performing against key performance indicators


As a Senior Sales Executive you are responsible for:

  • Managing customer relationships
  • Prospecting and driving new business
  • Managing and upselling against existing accounts
  • Collaborating with marketing to assist with campaign management
  • Representing SysGroup - Its capability and its Values

Skills & Experience 

  • 2-3 years experience
  • Must have current MSP
  • Clear success in hitting sales targets
  • Proven new business success – demand generation to order close
  • Account management experience
