Role summary

The role is to oversee the sales process and hire, develop and lead a team of Account Managers. It’s a quota bearing role so you are expected to make a sales contribution, but its also a management role so you primary responsibility is to Lead, Coach and Manage the team to hit the quote that has been set. The individual we are looking for needs to be results orientated, bold and not afraid to challenge the status quo. We need people who want to smash their number and expect the same from those around them.

Accountable for

  • Hitting monthly targets MRGP/VAR/PS
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts
  • Keeping systems up to date  
  • Retaining customers – Managed contracts
  • Ensuring the team is suitably trained – Understand the Portfolio
  • Driving regular engagement – Internal/External/Partner

Responsible for

  • Leading, coaching and Managing a team of sales people
  • Customer engagement
  • Manging the performance of the team
  • Making the right hires
  • Representing SysGroup - Its capability and its Values
  • Vendor engagement – Relationship and knowledge


About you

  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
  • Ability to manage, build and grow individuals and teams
  • Excellent time management and personal organization, to prioritise multiple tasks and ensure internal and external stakeholders are kept informed and updated
  • Natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance and can guide others.
  • Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives.
  • Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
  • Self-starter and motivator.
