As our Account Director you will operate at a strategic level, working with both new and existing clients to maximise revenue and build ongoing relationships.

Reporting To: Group Sales Director


Position Description

The role will be the primary owner of new and existing relationships between SysGroup and a number of existing and new Medium Enterprise customers. Identifying new areas of revenue growth in existing accounts and growing service lines through proactive strategic engagement.

Our Account Directors need to be able to perform confidently in high level, senior audience sales meetings both in person and over the phone. They operate at a strategic level, working with both new and existing clients to maximise revenue and build ongoing relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales that meets and exceeds revenue and margin growth targets.
  • Meet and exceed bookings, revenue and margin targets.
  • Maintain, develop and evangelist corporate image and reputation, and protect and develop the company's brands
  • Develop and build opportunities, business relationships within the identified target market.
  • Collaborate and implement plans that support increased sales and new wins.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate accounts
  • Create, develop and maintain sales strategies with our key vendor partners and where appropriate, incumbent system integrators.
  • Maintain the highest levels of personal and professional behavior in the work place.
  • Help SysGroup to meet or exceed their key target objectives through increased customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all internal stakeholders are aware of significant opportunities that will affect the Company
  • Maintain an accurate forecast in CRM at all times.


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in account and new logo development at a senior and strategic level
  • Knowledge and experience of a structured sales process
  • Experience in the development of cross functional relationships with both  internal teams and external clients
  • Strong negotiation and communication
  • Experience in selling service based solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Excellent written communications skills
